For sure one of the most beautiful airport in the world. Check in the threshold of RWY 20R a Boeing 737 blasts water as full power is applied. In the oposite threshold my friend and spotter Bernardo Andrade was taking some pictures. [Canon EOS 30D - Brenda]

Burnsville - Mountain Air (2NC0)
USA - North Carolina, October 7, 2006
Remark
Photographer
Flying in the mountains gave me a ton of photo oppertunities. This is possibly the coolest, located at the top of a mountain near Asheville the airport elevation is 4,400 feet and the tallest part of the mountain was 6,000 feet. You need permission to land there but it looks like there is a nice resort and golf course next to it. Notice the vibrant colours of the leaves as they start to turn.

Lukla - Tenzing-Hillary (LUA / VNLK)
Nepal, October 11, 2005
Remark
Photographer
9N-AET (cn 619) A busy day at Lukla Airport. Seen here is a takeoff of a Twin-Otter, with the next one ready to go. A Do-228 had to park on the runway because all parking spots were full. Due to bad weather on the previous days, there were a total of 42 flights on this day! Of interest: only pilots with over 7 years' experience are allowed to land here!
