LN-RRT (cn 28326/1036) In a dramatic approach to rwy 05 with strong wind from south and gust up to 36kt with some rain and poor visibility, notice the amazing vortex coming out of both wings. Netimage to reduce the grain. |

N805WP (cn 353) This Island Air Dash 8 waits in front of the Island Air hangar for a parking spot while getting drenced by rain. Love the reflections off the wet tarmac! Note the CO B762 docked at the terminal behind, not very common to see those at HNL. |

D-AIG* Somewhere near Berlin, a Luftie A340 is seen here coming down south, crossing our path. Seen from PH-BQC cruising at 40000 ft in our last hour of SIN-AMS. Sun had only just risen and was touching the horizon still, making the multiple layers of thin clouds turn various shades of orange. A beautiful sight to see. |

EC-HGV (cn 329) 1st. PRIZE MACH.82-SEPLA AERONAUTIC PHOTOGRAPHY CONTEST 2003. Imagine... everything almost covered by the dark, 'María Guerrero' is cleared for departure and rotates after a really long take off roll. Passes over my head, gear up, and begins to challenge the sky. Suddenly, the sun appears just in time for a second and gives a mysterious light to the scene while the aircraft is creating wingtip vortices and condensation over the wings...Click! |
