9V-SR* During our descent to Bangkok we encountered some nice weather! Typical time of the year to encounter this sort of weather. It was a rather difficult shot to take but im very satisfied with the end result! |

Final on 03 on a very nice afternoon. You can clearly see all the spotting places for ACE. On the right for the morning, left for the afternoon. Those volcanos penalize aircraft performance departing runway 03 due to obstacle clearance obviously;-). |

The south half of the runway and the south parking apron. The big blue building on the lower left was the Government Flying Service hangar, which is still kept quite intact. Kai Tak will probably keep her coastal line, and this area is planned to develop various tourist facilities including a cruise liner terminal, a heliport, a big district park, and hotels etc. Does this photo recall your memory that once you took off from here into the sky in the good old days? N556UA (cn 26650/447) Deep blues, vibrant blues & orange blues come together in creation of a magical night scene. United's blue belly could hardly be more fitting for this moment, one of those moments cherished in my memory. |
