Delta Air Lines
McDonnell Douglas MD-11
In Flight
International Airspace, September 2, 1998
Remark
Photographer
N803DE (cn 48474/485) Flying somewhere over the Pacific Ocean enroute from Los Angeles to Tokyo Narita as DL79. Today it has been more and more difficult to fly with wide body three holers in the transpacific routes. Especially for Delta Airlines, they inaugurated their Pacific service by L1011, and then introduced MD-11. I really like the roomy window of MD-11, which is one of the "genes" of Douglas jet airliners. I wish I could travel with the attractive looking MD-11 when she is around. Not much time left.

Boeing 777-232/ER
Tel Aviv (-Jaffa) - Ben Gurion (Lod) (TLV / LLBG)
Israel, May 2009
Remark
Photographer
N863DA / 7004 (cn 29735/245) Once as common as the white and blue 737's on the ramp here in TLV the Delta T7's no longer grace our skies since the B747-400 has taken over the TLV routes.

N707DN / 7107 (cn 39091/781) Ramp side with DL 16 having pushed back and been cleared to taxi the flight crew stopped to run a full engine test on #2 and returned to the gate for maintenance to check. Note the wing reflecting on the nacelle.

Los Angeles - International (LAX / KLAX)
USA - California, October 14, 2013
Remark
Photographer
N710DN / 7110 (cn 40560/857) Every stand at Terminal 5 is occupied by different sized aircraft from Delta and it's subsidiaries. From the Bombardier CRJ700, up to the Boeing 777-200LR, but sadly no Boeing 747-400.
