On this Asia Pacific tour, the A380 was like a chameleon - changing colours along the way to suit the home airline at each stop. Radar is in manual mode giving rather intense picture on our ND's which is caused by the unfiltered display shows all rainfall.Normally a display like this would be avoided but with the unfiltered display showing even light rainfall as red(no its not a thunderstorm just light rain)in manual mode makes it relatively easy to get the smooth ride through any wx. |

It was a rather quiet pre-season afternoon in LSZS, yet this beautiful Falcon made it so rewarding. TF-FIV (cn 30424/956) On the occasion of the Icelandic Silver Medalist Olympic team arriving in Iceland they were flown seperately from Keflavik to Reykjavík for a royal welcome celebration. TF-FIV was accompanied by two Coast Guard helicopters and DC-3, TF-NPK. The 757 captain got permission for a low approach to runway 19 and here is was must certainly be an Olympic record for low approaches by a 757 approximately 20 feet off the runway in this photo. |
