G-EZIP (cn 2514) The majority of you all have seen those magic pictures by Luis Rosa, with a fantastic Algarve dusk atmosphere and the sun aligned with the runway while a charter flight floating in on final approach makes the scene perfect! My few days in southern Portugal certainly were among the best I ever had aviation photography-wise. G-OJMR (cn 605) I was trying this for some years but the right conditions were never combined before, there are too many factors out of control, sun setting lined up with the runway center line (there are only two days per year when the sun sets in that position), sun not covered by clouds, aircraft landing at the right time, rather a widebody. I can only imagine the view those pilots were having up there. |
