N276WA (cn 48632/582) Viewing this World MD-11 brings back memories of my first World flight some 25 years ago. I had just gotten married and we were taking a World charter from LAX to HKG for our honeymoon. Our first leg was from LAX to OAK on a DC-10-30. Next we boarded World flight #1 (an old 74 swing nose) and started our journey, and what a journey it was. OAK-SEA-ANC-TPE-HKG, boy did it seem like an eternity. But we were young and adventurous and will never forget our first (long) flight together. Ahhhh memories! |
