This was my first Bmi longhaul flight and it was pretty good. The flight landed 45 minutes ahead of schedule on runway 07 due to favourable tail winds, a flight duration of 7 hrs 55 mins instead of the usual 8 hours 40 mins. F-WWJB (cn 007) Now thats what you call a nice white interior! Not to mention the IT air hostesses... Here we are, sitting in comfort, watching about 100 people from the tail cam waiting for us to take off in 40 degree temperature in DEL. I must say though, Airbus has totally rectified it 340 problem of extra long take off rolls on the A380. All those who havent been on the 380 yet, get prepared to be bowled over, rather, stumpped as us Indians who play cricket would say! Thanks EDDL for the edit once again. |

This is the last row of seats in the aircraft, row 41 seats G/H which I had to myself since the flight was nowhere near full. The seats are comfy with plenty of legroom (33" seat pitch), the seat back IFE excellent although the screens are a little small and the cabin crew first class (Canon 350D + Sigma 10-20 EX DC HSM) |

9V-SKA (cn 003) Onboard the World's First Commercial A380 flight return from Sydney to Singapore in the brilliant Singapore Airlines Suites 3A. Dining features main course of steam rock lobster with wagyu steak, d'Estournel 1982, Grange 1990 and Dom Perignon 1996 Rose. Each Suite Class guest were given a framed flight certificate, BOSE headset and a Mandarina Duck goodie bag to go home with. Simply put, this is my best flight out of 800s. A6-EYL (cn 809) Here we are screaming over Sukkur in Pakistan in our beautiful ship Yankee Lima! As most of you know, the A330 tapers towards the end of the fuselage, and hence from a seating of 2-4-2, it tapers in a seating of 2-3-2. The last row on the 330 really sucks because it doesnt recline and for long hauls it gets very unnerving not to have that flexibility. Showing on the seat infront is the EY IFE menu, and the rightmost icon says "Prayer Services" i must add that the Qur'an was very soothing to listen to.[Canon 400D+Sigma 8mm Fisheye] |
