ZS-SSS (cn TH-1941) This is definitely a bird strike. This is the size of the bird that was stuck in the nose gear of the aircraft. It was dragged for over an hour back to Grand Central. |

PH-BTD / TD-014 (cn 27420/2406) Sometimes, especially on ground, pilot can be a very dangerous job. But after this teamwork and successfully climbing back, nothing could be going wrong. |

PP-SPL (cn 48745/596) I have looked on the Terminal B at Zürich how this plane rotate from Rwy 16! During the take-off, I heard 3 or 4 very loud bangs and then I saw the fire which came out of Engine 2. I took my camera and made a shot. What luck to see the flame because she was only visible for a few seconds! Please check out the original picture by clicking here. |

RA-86140 (cn 51483211102) No more runway left = Must rotate! Look at where the 1000 ft marker sign and where the plane is! One heart-stopping takeoff! The front gear of the plane actually got up before the '1' marker but the body remains heavy. I think the pilots know exactly where to rotate. The Ilyushin also kicked up a large sandstorm on the beach and it was barely above it after finally airborne. IL86 is such a beast! [Nikon D2x, High speed crop mode] |

The aircraft overrun the runway due to a failure in reversion sistem. The power goes up to almost 100%, but the reversors didn´t open. |
