USA - Air Force
North American XB-70A Valkyrie
Dayton - Wright-Patterson AFB (Wright AFB) (DWF) (closed)
USA - Ohio, April 1982
Remark
Photographer
62-0001 (cn 278-1) The sole remaining example of what one A.net sage called perhaps "the single most beautiful thing man ever made from metal" surely deserves to be cleaner than this.

USA - Ohio, March 1988
Remark
Photographer
62-0001 (cn 278-1) USAF Museum. First of only two built. This Mach 3+ strategic bomber looks like a prehistoric bird. The program was cancelled and the XB-70 made its last flight to the Museum in Feb 69.

Untitled
Prescott Pusher
Wichita - McConnell AFB (IAB / KIAB)
USA - Kansas, February 23, 2006
Remark
Photographer
N41PP (cn 001) An apparent research and development aircraft, this is certainly one of the more unusual aircraft I've ever seen. Here it sits at the Kansas Aviation Museum adjacent to McConnell AFB, next to the significantly larger Boeing B-52D Stratofortress 55-0094.
