N747PA (cn 19639/2) "Juan T. Trippe", the second B747 in Boeing production line and the first B747 delivered to airline(Pan Am) is spending her rest life in Korea. She has been moved to here(east surbub of Seoul) in Jul.'00 and used as restaurant but it was closed and neglected for long time. So sadly its state is very bad...Wings are removed by Korean construction law and only fuselage is preserved with fake engines and wings. No. 2 engine intake is covered with food menu. |

N106US (cn 1044) A New York City Police boat stands by the remains of N106US in the Hudson River. The afternoon before, operating as US Flight 1549 from LGA to CLT, the aircraft experienced dual engine failure, believed caused by bird strikes shortly after departing LGA. The flight crew was able to successfully ditch the A320 into the Hudson River alongside Manhattan. A quick response by the local water taxi company, along with others, resulted in the rescue of all 155 passengers and crew! |

A view of the rear of the "Aviation Warehouse" lot in El Mirage. In this view, there's at least two F-27s, a PV-2, a "Southern" 727 which was painted for a film, several twin Beech aircraft, a couple of Westwinds, and various other general aviation airframes. All are available to the movie industry, for a price. |

OY-KHO (cn 53003/1844) This is what's left of the cockpit of "Dana Viking", fading away on a scrapyard. December 27, 1991 "Dana Viking" takes off from Arlanda as flight 751 and only 4 minutes later it crashes into a field (location, Gottrora). The crash occured due to ice on the wings which came loose and made engine failure on both engines. The aircraft went into three pieces but all 129 onboard survived thanks to a magnificent work on flight deck from Capt. Stefan Rasmussen and F/O Ulf Cedermark. Great luck helped too. |

N568FE (cn 47827/294) Ex N132AA, this airliner has a special story, being one of the very few who survived a full bath in salted water, after ending her landing on runway 04 in the lagoon of Tahiti, on december 23, 2000. With many other DC-10 and A310, she is now part of the FedEx "reserve fleet", awaiting cargo conversion in the desert. Adhesive tape is widely used in MHV, even to apply a new registration ! |

N28CG (cn 50) Taking a final rest in a bed of clovers. This aircraft is former corporate transport of Corning Glass Company, given away by remnants of two diagonal strips along forward fuselage. (these were once blue). Corning Glass now operates Dassault Falcon 2000 and Fairchild Dornier from this airport. It was not too many years ago I used to see the aircraft pictured at EWR. Now I know why I don't see it there anymore. . |

TZ-ASH (cn 11003) A sad sight for all Fokker fans around the world. Frame 03 or better known as PH-MOL is the first production F.28 which made her first flight on Oct.20-1967 after which she took part in the certification process and served Aerolinee Itavia, Braathens, Martinair, LTU, Alisarda SPA, Ghana Airways, Nigeria Airways, Air Gabon, KL/UK, Iran Aseman, Air Alsace, TAT, Air Niugini, Air Dabia and finally Air Mali over the years that followed. Quite a Career and it is about time that this frame returns home. |
