After smooth flight from Dallas Fort Worth for two hours as UA7506, the sun has just broken through the horizon when we started descent which eventually brought us to Runway 27 Left. From our port side window, we could see the entire airport in a first sunray of the day. As many people have previously reported, EMB-170/-190 series is one wonderful aircraft to fly with the big airplanes' comfort together with small airplanes' flexibility/versatility. I like it very much. |

Nice overview of Tokyo Haneda in morning sunlight. This photograph was taken shortly after taking off from 34R enroute to Osaka Itami (ITM) as NH 15 (JA8959, B747-481D). Lots of airplanes now preparing for departure can be seen. You can clearly see the main terminal complex (left hand side of the “red arch” in the center) as well as new terminal complex (right hand side of the arch) between the runways 34LR. The maintenance buildings locate in the foreground, and the runway for cross wind is in the back. |

This outbound flight gave us a whole view of San Francisco International when we departed from Runway 1 Left heading for Los Angeles as UA886. You can easily observe the entire movement of this large airport with some heavies are about to head for Far East and Asia. DHL B767 in the cargo lamp and Korean Air B747 in the terminal really stand out among others. Company's 'color' must be an important identity in such way. |

Ok, so now we are completing our long 12 hour journey on SQ16 from SIN to SFO via Seoul. As our beautiful Boeing 772ER screams along the airport to fly straight and then take a sharp U turn and gently descend into Sanfrancisco's beautiful international airport. The flight over the big and bag pacific was great, was lucky to be in J class and was offered snacks every half hour! My favorite was the chocolate coated popcorn. I love flying into SFO, its a home away from home for me. Best city in the USA :)It truly doenst get better than SFO. The best part about SFO is the simultaneous landings that occur, they make for some excellent air to air shots along with the feeling that you are going to land on water instead of on the runway! |
