PH-BFI / FI-030 (cn 25086/850) Woohoo! :) We waited for one more plane and we took a special position alongside runway 24, and man, did that pay off for us! Nice and sharp and great silhouette lighting! |

N522FE (cn 48476/510) Del. 11/16/1992 to Delta Airlines as N805DE, the aircraft has since been converted to a freighter operated by Fed Ex. This lovely aircraft is seen departing Anchorage on a misty morning creating a spectacular condinsation display off the wings and winglets. |

G-TTOD (cn 1723) To travel approx. 2300 km to take a picture of an GB A320 (which is, in addition, the only movement during the whole day) sounds crazy. But if you 'add' Gibraltar as destination it becomes worth the trip! ... the panoramic view on top of the rock is simply awesome! |

RA-86140 (cn 51483211102) No more runway left = Must rotate! Look at where the 1000 ft marker sign and where the plane is! One heart-stopping takeoff! The front gear of the plane actually got up before the '1' marker but the body remains heavy. I think the pilots know exactly where to rotate. The Ilyushin also kicked up a large sandstorm on the beach and it was barely above it after finally airborne. IL86 is such a beast! [Nikon D2x, High speed crop mode] |

CS-TEJ (cn 494) Pedro Nunes. A plane in a bridge?!. No this is an airport, this concrete structure is calculated to the dimensions/weight of an 747-400. The runway has a lenght of 2781 meters, from that 1000 meters are built with 180 cast-in-situ concrete piles with 50 meters high. Somewhat like a building with seventeen floors. |

N923FT (cn 22769/562) Simply stunning. I'm very sorry it's not crisp sharp, but unforgettable image! Took off with 23 knot winds. Apparently crosswinded takeoff. Totally out of the Axis, and kicking out lots of dust! Workers on the left of the Runway taking shelter!! Unforgettable! Sorry that it looks unlevel, but runway is horribly paved and I'm in a fuzzy angle! |
