N670US / 6310 (cn 24225/804) Walk back towards the tail, go up the stairs on the left and you'll find the aft crew rest bunk. This is half of it; there are eight beds in the compartment. The smaller crew rest areas on the Northwest 747-400s are on the upper deck. |

N674US (cn 30269/1232) Has arrived from long trans-Pacific flight from Tokyo Narita as Northwest 20 heavy. Lots of water is dramatically kicked up when this dash 400 shows her full stopping power onto the 10,000ft runway 12R at Minneapolis-St. Paul International / World-Chamberlain Airport. Despite some difficulties for photography, this is one of the reasons why I like to go to the airport in a rainy condition. Moreover, I could capture my favorite bright yellow colored three holers as well in a background as a bonus. |

N670US / 6310 (cn 24225/804) The 747-400s do not usually spend more than two hours in Minneapolis in between their Tokyo flights, but this aircraft was struck by lightning on approach the morning this photo was taken. It is in the hangar being inspected before heading back to Japan. |
