Cam Air International
Lockheed L-188A(F) Electra
Seattle / Tacoma - International (SEA / KSEA)
USA - Washington, Early 1980's
Remark
Photographer
N669F (cn 1116) Short lived cargo airline which operated on behalf of Burlington Air Express and the US Postal Service. Aircraft is seen at SEA during the busy holiday season in the early 1980's. It is interesting to note how loading is done by hand as compared to today's palletization/containerization cargo handling methods. Airframe as originally delivered to American Airlines as N6126A. It has seen service with McCulloch Int'l, Spirit of America, Fleming, EMS International & DHL/Fred Olsen.

Remark

9G-MKQ (cn 22169/472) The pace of loading (slow) has to be seen to be believed in Africa. This airfield is hacked out of the jungle.

Antonov An-12B
Frankfurt - Hahn (HHN / EDFH)
Germany, March 4, 2003
Remark
Photographer
RA-12994 (cn 00347401) For several hours the only action at Hahn was the loading of mail and newspapers into this AN-12, in preparation for its regular daily flight. Picture taken from on top of the very precarious "pipe" (Hahn regulars will know what I mean!).
