Japan Airlines - JAL
Boeing 747-446
Los Angeles - International (LAX / KLAX)
USA - California, August 2, 2004
Remark
Photographer
JA8081 (cn 25064/851) Taken from our Cessna at 3500ft during our shoreline transition over LAX. This was a great sight. As the 747 moved on and gained speed it required more and more acrobatics inside the cramped Cessna as it was virtually behind us at that point.

Aeroflot
Tupolev Tu-154...
In Flight
Russia, February 2004
Remark
Photographer
That's Siberia ! We fly westbound to Europe, 68 degrees north latitude, 1 p.m. local time. One of few southbound flights in the area, originating from the polar region, crosses our route perpendicularly, 20 miles ahead of us, 1.000 meters below. They are getting a very fast early afternoon sunrise. We enjoyed during several hours the wonderful colours of sunset, before the sun rose again over Finland. Simply magic !

Cathay Pacific Airways
Airbus A330-342
Singapore - Changi (SIN / WSSS)
Singapore, November 11, 2001
Remark
Photographer
B-HLC (cn 099) "Are you looking at me 'cos I'm looking at you and I've got right of way!" A one in a million shot for me, which left me estatic. I saw the 2 SQ B747s being held to allow the CX A330 to pass, and decided to try a photo. I didn't realise that the two sets of pilots would be having a staring match.
