One of the most amazing approaches in the world, Hamilton Island located in the Whitsundays in Northern Queensland. The runway leaves little room for error in case of an undershoot or overshoot due to the water, definitely an amazing place to visit. |

1526 / 5J-CN (cn 1526) "Forsvarets Flysamling" One of only 3 preserved originally German built He-111 in the world. Thanks to the very nice personnel at the museum I was allowed to take a glimpse inside and I can assure you that this is no plane you'd voluntarily spend hours inside as it's freaking cramped. Nevertheless an absolute great experience of getting a very slight feeling of what is must have been like for the guys flying this plane some 70 years ago. [Nikon D200] |
