ZS-SPC (cn 21134/288) Last ever landing for this 747SP into Rand airport, Johannesburg. The aircraft had not flown in over 3 years and the flight was made to reposition it to its final resting place at the SAA Museum Society. The runway is 1712m long and much narrower than the wheel base width of machine meaning the engines overhung the grass and blew a huge amount of dirt into the air with the reversers engaged (canon 300D) |
