56-2352 This Convair TF-102A Delta Dagger still wears the markings of the 196th Fighter Interceptor Squadron, a California ANG unit based at Ontario International Airport, CA for ten years from 1965 to 1975. When photographed here at AMARC in early 1987 she was surrounded by removed items such as nose cone, missile bay doors and engine fairing. Luckier than her sister 56-2350 (just visible to the right), she subsequently went to Kelly AFB in TX, then to Birmingham, AL where she is on display. |

N5608 (cn 30-10-18) Although not nearly the "smoker" that the 880 was, the 990 left plenty of evidence that it had applied power to pull off the gate. This one went on to become OD-AFF with MEA, and ended its career as EC-BZP with Spantax. |

N5607 (cn 30-10-16) N5607 was delivered to American Airlines on February 9, 1962. In 1967, it was sold to Modern Air Transport, and flew as N5624. In 1975, it was purchased by Nomads and flew as N990E. It was finally scrapped in 1991. Photo taken by my great uncle and scanned from a slide. Thanks to David Lednicer for retouching the old slide. |
