N318AS (cn 30018/1326) With cloudy conditions, unusually high humidity and sweltering triple-digit heat in excess of 110 degrees, this Alaska special crosses the threshold for 7R. I was only out here to capture the two ANZ744 charters operating direct service into LAS this day. The fact that 7R was even being used for arrivals is indicative of how bad conditions were. I cannot ever recall spotting in more unpleasant conditions! |

PH-AOK / OK-509 (cn 834) KLM7472 came in from Paris Orly again for a post-maintenance testflight and the plan was to make a low approach. Now I've seen my fair share of low approaches by now and that includes an actual touch & go, but this one left me breathless again. I was sure it would touch, but it didn't! There was only a few cm's left between the lowest wheel and the runway. It was also the first time they rocked their wings during the climbout. Really cool to see! Thanks guys!! |

Finally I could take a clear overview of my favorite airport, Tehran - Mehrabad, due to clear weather and on-time left turn of the aircraft to East. You can see whole airport, both runways 29L/R civil ramps north of the runway and military parking south of the runways, Milad tower up-right, lovely Fat'h Sq right, Azadi sport complex up-left and half snow covered Alborz mountain up side of the photo. |
