Identifiable are 11 F-8 Crusaders, 9 McDonnell F-3 Demons, 7 Douglas A-1 Skyraiders, 4 Douglas A-4 Skyhawks, 2 A-3 Skywarriors and 2 Grumman E-1 Tracers. Obtained from the USN over 40 years ago. |

HP-1520CMP (cn 33707/1376) [Canon 1D Mark III + Canon EF 24-70mm f/2.8 L] When I planned this year's trip to SXM, I booked one-way tickets on two separate carriers, so I could get a few extra hours of spotting in. About an hour prior to my airport check-in to return home, fellow A.netter Marseno Bremer and I looked in astonishment, as Copa 134 floated low over the water and made an extremely low approach over Maho Beach. It was the highlight of my trip, and left me speechless in the minutes following the landing. |

OV-105 (cn OV-105) My remote camera sits on the pad less than 24 hrs before launch of "Endeavour" on her last mission (STS-134). Minolta X-700 + 50mm lens attached to a sound trigger. Tripod is anchored by 3 bungee chords (orange) to 9 inch stakes driven into the ground. Three 30 lb bags of sand have been placed at each leg. The whole setup is wrapped in a garbage bag except for lens opening. Film = Fuji Velvia 50. |

OV-103 (cn OV-103) Discovery's Final Journey: With NASA 905, the 747 Shuttle Carrie Aircraft (SCA) in the background in the predawn twilight, Discovery is towed to the Shuttle Landing Facility Runway for its final journey: The Smithsonian in Washington. After the 75 minute tow from the VAB, Discovery will be hoisted atop the 747 SCA, secured, and flown up the coast on its final airborne trip. A sad day for all. |
