A9C-GJ / 605 (cn 24495/267) "Al-Muharraq". Specially painted in this glorious livery to celebrate Gulf Air's 50th Anniversary which fell on the 24th of March 2000. Knowing that they got it right, no wonder they decided to leave the livery on the plane. Looks just like an Arabian Princess with a veil covering her face & studded with gold all over. Airplane named "Al-Muharraq" after the historical & northernmost island of the Bahrain archipelago, the Bahrain International Airport (BAH/OBBI) is also located on this island. |

N526MD (cn 46998/267) Big A landing on RWY 9 for what was one of the last times here in KMIA. On July 1; Arrow ceased operations, the DC-10s where are grounded as well as the 757s. The DC-10s remained in Miami for a while and the 757 had a couple of test flights before leaving to an unknown destination. All four DC-10s sit in the OPF awaiting the scrapping line; With the demise of Arrow, the only DC-10s left in Miami are TAB and Cielos del Peru. Currently ABX is taking over the operations for now... |

HS-TGG (cn 33771/1337) Now one of the very few Thai B744s still to wear the old livery. Although the scheme is called old colours since a couple of years I still prefer this to the new one. Back in 2004 I was on this particular aircraft on my very first Thai flight. After all those years it still looks the same! :) |
