N901DA / 9201 (cn 53381/2100) This MD-90 shows off her raw power on a 5,700 foot runway. Two IAE V2500 engines produce a total of 56,000 pounds of thrust to rocket this aircraft skyward. Also note the atmospheric effect under the left wing which distorts the American titles in the background. It looks like the air was cut with a knife. |

N792AN / 7BA (cn 30253/292) Normally, I am very happy when I can catch two aircarft in action in one frame. I never thought that I would be able to catch three in one frame until today. I saw the American B777 turning off 25L, the Continental B757 rolling down 25R, and the United B777 on finals for 24R and I thought......maybe, just maybe. Well, here is the product of a lot positive thinking as they all came together as I wanted...my own personal Christmas present! [Nikon D3] |

Not the ordinary office ... what would you give for a view like that? All important screens in one picture (left to right): pushback tug schedule, arrivals/departures with parking positions, weather information, ground radar, flight status information, lots of camera views, ATC radar + airport lighting control. Plus lots of buttons, phones and microphones. Outside you can see a small part of the full cargo apron with 6 of the 17 widebodies (A300F, B762F, B763F + MD-11F). The passenger terminal area can be seen on the upper left side. |
