Revisiting Fei Ngo Shan overlooking the old Kai Tak airport site a year after my first visit. You can clearly see new development projects taking shape on the northern edge of the old site as redevelopment commences. [Nikon D90 w/ 18-105 F3.5-5.6 VR] |

RF-21512 (cn 7682000003) Doesn't it look like VTOL or rocket launch? Sometime flying with Be-200 you feel like that. Be-103 is below us awaiting for the take off permission. |

ZK-SJB (cn 28868/2881) Enroute AKL-WLG passing the amazing Mt. Taranaki. The near-perfect circle around the volcano is the protected deep forest of Egmont National Park, and the areas around it are farmland. As far as I have heard, the round shape exists because they chose to make the National Park circular, which creates this very interesting effect. New Zealand is just beautiful! |

PH-BFG / FG-003 (cn 24517/782) The "City of Guayaquil" is seen a hundred feet above the world famous Maho Beach and the sparkling clear waters of Sunset Bay chasing its shadow to the runway. This place takes photography to a whole new level when you can literally go for a swim or sip on a bottle of Carib while waiting for an aircraft. It's quite obvious that I was not the only one with a camera around here, but this young woman certainly appreciated being part of the photograph more than I would have. |

Without a doubt, the most beautiful airport setting in the World! The airport was opened during World War II. The small cross runway built by US Air Force can be seen at the lower right. The airport is located on a "Motu". A boat transfer is necessary to get to the main island of Bora Bora. I was very lucky to be able to get this aerial photo after my flight was delayed and I bumped into Tahiti Helicopter pilot who agreed to take me for a ride! Dedicate the photo to my wife, Vicki. Over the one of the most beautiful places at Karelian Isthmus - Serpentine's Girt (between two rocks) at the right, tiny Snitin Isle on the left and other wonderful views are landmarks for many tourists routes. Fallen trees is the result of the havy storm in 2010. |
