N923FT (cn 22769/562) Simply stunning. I'm very sorry it's not crisp sharp, but unforgettable image! Took off with 23 knot winds. Apparently crosswinded takeoff. Totally out of the Axis, and kicking out lots of dust! Workers on the left of the Runway taking shelter!! Unforgettable! Sorry that it looks unlevel, but runway is horribly paved and I'm in a fuzzy angle!

N649AS (cn 30663/1386) Wow! Northern lights and the Great Dipper!! This could be one of the ultimate window views that I could expect. Mother Nature surely does know how to pose for photographs. However, this is changing forever and could disappear suddenly as we are now traveling more than 700 km/h with 10 km off the ground. Definitely, this is a damn difficult image to capture where my passion for photography comes from. The red cast on the wing comes from the anti-collision light as I managed to synchronize my photo with it.

PH-BFG / FG-003 (cn 24517/782) Well I don’t think this really needs a comment. It speaks for itself. Truly SXM trademark at its best. If he were much lower he would have gotten the fence and these guys’ heads. Not very often you see grown men ducking down there. What an awesome weekend this was. Thanks guys!

ZS-SAU (cn 22971/578) WOW !!!!!!!! What more can I say. Only SAA can do it this big and outstanding. Today our President was inaugurated and SAA was asked to do a display. So SAA did it 3 times bigger and better by flying in formation using 2 x B747-300's and 1 x A340-600. Very ironic as well as the leading A340 is replacing the older B747's in the fleet. This Saturday SAA's classics will also fly its final revenue flight. So indeed appropiate for the classics to take part in this great display. Well done SAA !!!!!!!!!!!
