Other serials - N788DL with Delta Air Lines & IAG - Interlease Aviation Corp, N710HV with Tradewinds Airlines, N334EA with American Trans Air, Air Algerie, & Delta Air Lines, and also N826CR with Tradewinds Airlines & IAG. Wears FN 334 with Eastern Air Lines. Stored at GSO (Greensboro), & was broken-up in March 2004 as N826CR.

First flight was August 23, 1973. Delivery date was November 21, 1975. Other serials - N786DL with Delta Air Lines - purchased in December 1991, and Jet Midwest. Wears FN 332 with Eastern Air Lines & FN 786 with Delta Air Lines. Temporary storage at MHV in January 1991. Stored at VCV on June 24, 1999 with 57,395 hours TT. Still at VCV in November 2010.

N726DA (cn 193C-1163) This aircraft was w/o on August 2nd 1985 when it crashed on approach to Dallas-Ft. Worth (DFW). The flight encountered a microburst with severe wind shear, causing the aircraft to hit the ground about a mile from the runway. 135 of the 163 persons on board were killed.

Aircraft encountered microburst on approach to runway 17, and struck highway & water tanks 6,300 feet from runway with 143 of 163 fatalities + 1 on ground - r.i.p. Note Continental Airlines DC-10 on taxiway Bravo with red meatball on tail.

Sadly, W/O December 21, 1988 with Pan Am as N739PA over Lockerbie, Scotland - due to bomb explosion on board with 259 fatalities + 11 on ground - r.i.p. A tribute to all whom perished. Pan Am DC-7C(F) c/n 44881/692 also wears N739PA.
