D-ACPH (cn 10043) The stretched CRJ-700 is actually quite different from the shorter variants – the wing is mounted at a different angle with the trailing edge set lower, which gives a distinctive nose-down attitude on the ground. A prominent fairing where the wing trailing edge joins the fuselage and an anhedral tailplane are further distinguishing features and give it something of the elegance of the Global Express long range business jet. A yet-longer -1000 variant is being developed. |
