9N-ADM (cn 95640) A fantastic and spectacular Airfield at 3800m. There may be thick clouds all day, or more than 10 landings on a busy day. Most of the traffic is Mil 8/17 transporting cargo. They often perform rolling landings, even with tailwind. The Airfield was built to accomodate Pilatus Porters, but unfortunately all of Nepals Porters have crashed. |

This 2355-by-100-foot runway is a very popular destination for pilots around Florida. It gives you beautiful scenery and a short field to work with. It comes with its risks seeing as many planes each year end up in the drink. The "taxiway" next to the runway is actually a public road and isn't ment to be used for aircraft operations, however there was a long line along the road for departure. After this flight I had 99.3 hours, Comment in Log Book: Zero G's. |

Final runway 10 at Bardufoss. You can almost feel the frost hitting you as you watch this picture. It is taken from the top of a hill at the end of the runway, forcing aircrafts departing runway 28 to climb with a 10.2% climb gradient untill passing 1000 feet in order to stay clear of terrain. Also visible on the runway is a Norwegian air force C-130 Hercules. |

Syangboche sits at 12500ft AMSL, in the Himalayas. It was only used to fly in wealthy tourists direct to the Everest View Hotel. It is too high for most people to acclimatize, so the hotel had an oxygen bar for people who don’t want to walk up from Lukla. As you can see the strip is dirt, heavily slopped and there is a shear cliff face at the far end. Unsure of length. Amazing scenery! Sorry for quality (scanned image). |

Lowpassing Runway 05 in TF-SAA. On the photo, three aircraft can be seen. TF-BCX, TF-TOY and TF-163. Fellow Reykjavik Spotter Asgeir Sigurdsson can be seen below the terminal. He was shooting Kristján and me flying the Katana again and again over the runway. Kudos go to Kristján for making this photo flight possible! |
