A7-AEB (cn 637) Qatari 5 leads the way for the ILS approach to 27R this glorious morning. Behind it are 3x 744s making this amazing dawn scene even more spectacular. Wow, what a sight! |

N645NW (cn 23736/673) Is majestically turn and taxi for runway 32 departure at Anchorage International. Low afternoon sun illuminates the characteristic shape of this 747 beautifully. Amazingly, Everts Air Cargo C-118A is following with her four 2400hp roaring P&W R-2800-CB16 engines running. This type of combination would only be achieved in Alaska. If you really like a heavy metal and would like to smell jet fuel and/or engine oil, this might be the place to be. Snowy mountains behind always give us a nice backdrop. |

N660AM (cn 25294/418) American Airlines flight 150 SFO-BOS turns to join the ILS APR for the active here at Boston’s, Logan Intl airport. The sun showers through the broken cloud layer just above the horizon as dawn breaks casting a brilliant orange glow over the ocean. Well done American for giving me one of the best long haul internals I’ve flown! |

N529UA (cn 25019/352) "United 764 heavy, cleared to land runway 27 right. Caution, American MD-80 is on your 10 o'clock toward the parallel runway 27 left." "Okay sir. We are in sight." After smooth flight from Dallas Fort Worth for two hours, we are welcomed by the beautiful setting sun over the Lake Michigan. From our port side window, we could see a wonderful view of downtown Chicago skyline and shoreline. Sears Tower nicely stands out. Famous "Windy City" seems to be damn calm this afternoon. |
