HZ-AIO (cn 23266/624) The right direction & the wrong direction. On August 23, 2001 the crew lost directional control of the plane during taxiing from a hangar toward a departure gate prior to boarding, it entered into a ditch causing serious damage to the nose section. None of the six crewmembers aboard were seriously injured. Note Malaysia Airlines B747-4H6 (9M-MPH) showing the right direction. |

B-HLC (cn 099) "Are you looking at me 'cos I'm looking at you and I've got right of way!" A one in a million shot for me, which left me estatic. I saw the 2 SQ B747s being held to allow the CX A330 to pass, and decided to try a photo. I didn't realise that the two sets of pilots would be having a staring match. |

N330AA (cn 22330/166) 12:30:22. The day is hazy and hot. I was taking photos to the Air New Zealand's 747-400 ZK-SUJ, when in the background I saw a big explosion in the engine number 1. It was the American's 767 N330AA. At the time of the explosion, the aircraft engines were running while the plane was parked near to the AA hangar. [Canon 20D + Sigma 50-500] |

N656US (cn 26847/486) WOW!!! I was taking some pictures at the end of Rwy 24 when this US Airways n/c came over shooting flames and making loud bangs. I counted 8 of them, and lucky for me, at least 3 times I got the fire on the photo with the result like this. Those people inside must have been shocked really hard with all those flames and bangs! btw: I like their new paintjob! [Camera: EOS 300D Lens: Canon 90-300mm] |
