Remark
Photographer
N***UA Nice to see the engine blast blowing some snow off the tarmac while turning into the gate. This is my first snow in 2002/2003 winter season, and snowy weather is absolutely photogenic, which is one of my favorites. I always think when I put myself into there as a transit passenger that Denver must be an interesting place for aviation photography especially in winter season. I wish I could visit there in the near future.

Remark

N509UA (cn 24763/284) With LH 744 D-ABVE. The two planes appear to be touching! The 757 is on final for 28L while the 747 is for 28R. The runways are 750 ft apart, so there is still plenty of room between them. Incidentally, Lufthansa 455 is seen here returning to SFO due to an oil leak and eventual shutdown of the number 2 engine. Note rudder is deflected to the right compensating for the failed engine on the left side.
