G-AWZK (cn 2312) The impresive tail of this classic jetliner on static display at Manchesters Aviation Viewing Park. The tail section houses three Rolls Royce Spey turbojets, a fourth Rolls Royce RB162-86 boost engine unique to the Trident 3B for use at take off, especially in 'hot and high' climates and a fifth hidden inside, the APU. That's five jet engines in one tail!!! (Canon 50D + Sigma 10-20 EX DC HSM) |

G-AVFB (cn 2141) The Trident always looked superb in this simple BEA livery, the way they all looked on my first few visits to Heathrow. It is great to see this example preserved in this livery |

G-ARPH (cn 2108) Close-up of the tail of this classic tri-jet. I think the low afternoon sun and the browning leaves really make this image. |
