N482N / R614K (cn JRY-01) Jim Younkin's replica of the famous Travel Air "Mystery Ship". Doug Davis used the orignal NR614K to win the Free For All race at the 1929 National Air Races, beating several military aircraft, but the aircraft was lost in a crash shortly before the 1931 Thompson Trophy Race.

NX13688 Steve Wittman's famous D-12 Bonzo Thompson Trophy racer, on display at the 1979 EAA Fly In. In five years of racing this aircraft, from 1935 to 1939, Wittman placed second, third and fifth (twice). In the 1937 Thompson Trophy race, he led 18 of 20 laps, before falling back due to a rough engine. This airplane is now registered N4486E and is on display at the EAA AirVenture Museum.

NR12930 / 3 (cn 1) Art Chester's "Jeep" on display in the EAA Airventure Museum. First flown in 1932, this aircraft participated in the 375 cubic inch and 550 cubic inch events at the National Air Races from 1933 to 1937. Rebuilt as a Goodyear racer, it also raced in the 1947 National Air Races.
