EP-ICD (cn 24134/712) Iran Air under wings of Iranian Spotters. Great days in Iran Air hangars and also OIII apron with my nice friends. After a long time Iran Air has bought a Jumbo for Cargo purposes. The last one was EP-ICC and now She’s grounded in Tehran Aerospace Exhibition. Near the tail of this dragon ex. Iran Air F-100, EP-IDB, is visible. She crashed right one year ago. Special thanks to Mr. NooshAbadi. [ Powered by Nikon D300 + Sigma 10-20]

Vaso Airlines
Ilyushin Il-86
Phuket (HKT / VTSP)
Thailand, January 10, 2006
Remark
Photographer
RA-86140 (cn 51483211102) No more runway left = Must rotate! Look at where the 1000 ft marker sign and where the plane is! One heart-stopping takeoff! The front gear of the plane actually got up before the '1' marker but the body remains heavy. I think the pilots know exactly where to rotate. The Ilyushin also kicked up a large sandstorm on the beach and it was barely above it after finally airborne. IL86 is such a beast! [Nikon D2x, High speed crop mode]
