Remark

AP-BCD (cn 23297/1122) It all started for this new airline company Emirates in 1985 and I was able to see their single airplane (leased from PIA) on Boxing day in 1985. In a few years Emirates would operate the biggest fleet of Airbus A380s.

Amsterdam - Schiphol (AMS / EHAM)
Netherlands, May 28, 2004
Remark
Photographer
N408MC (cn 29261/1192) (Photo 1 of 2). Take-off at 36L 9:21PM. Heavy smoke (rubber scraping) due to an off-center nose gear while at full thrust. This resulted in an aborted take-off. Emergency services rushed out immediately and the runway was closed. After inspection and reset the 2300 meters of runway left was enough to take off again and the aircraft was cleared by the tower.
