Two unique contrails. The Northwest B747-400 to the right has a small rainbow trailing behind on the top of its contrail and the Singapore Airlines B777 contrail is casting a clearly visible shadow onto the clouds below. |

VR-HY* The Cathay 747-200 was slow to start rolling, while the A320 was getting closer. Eventually, the A320 touched down when the Cathay was still on the runway. A bit too close for comfort!! |

We had been flying the same North Atlantic Track for hours, same ground speed, 1000 feet above, 10NM behind. Just as contrail and sunset light became simultaneously good for picturing, they made an unexpected route offset, maybe to avoid a wake turbulence. Thanks guys ! |
