Nice overview of Tokyo Haneda in morning sunlight. This photograph was taken shortly after taking off from 34R enroute to Osaka Itami (ITM) as NH 15 (JA8959, B747-481D). Lots of airplanes now preparing for departure can be seen. You can clearly see the main terminal complex (left hand side of the “red arch” in the center) as well as new terminal complex (right hand side of the arch) between the runways 34LR. The maintenance buildings locate in the foreground, and the runway for cross wind is in the back. |

All 5 terminals can be seen along with the afternoon rush hour of Continental jets on taxiway RB. Of the 5 terminals, terminal B's 4 banjo style concourses are the only remaining original. |
