N-ABNA / M92 (cn 86) This is the oldest Boeing aircraft still in existence. First flown on December 27th 1919, it was operated on the Seattle to Victoria BC mail route for eight years. Purchased by the Seattle Historical Society in 1934, it has been on display in the Museum of History and Industry since 1954. Originally registered G-CADS, then N-CADS and N-ABNA before finally being registered NC1974. Powered by a 400 hp 12-cylinder Liberty engine. |

NC224M (cn 1082) The "City of Auburn" on display in the Museum of Flight. This is the only survivor of the sixteen built in 1928-30. After being retired from service with United Air Lines in 1934, it became a cargo aircraft for a construction company in Alaska. After World War II, this aircraft was placed in storage and then abandoned. In 1960, it was recovered from a dump and brought to Seattle for restoration in 1964. |
