G-VBUG (cn 804) The summer months here at LAX are always a good time to visit, at least for me. I live 40 miles northeast of the airport in the San Gabriel Valley where the temperature can be 20 to 30 degrees warmer than LAX. So it's always pleasurable to spend the afternoon right here in the small park next to the In-N-Out, watching these beauties land. The ocean is at the end of 24R, so there is always a cool breeze blowing. Wouldn't you like to be here right now? |

While doing planespotting at LAS, one can see many types of narrowbodys aicrafts and ocasionally same widebodys of US carriers. But to see a B747 at Vegas is samething ... It brakes all the monotony and brings joy to the spotters, and, I think, to all that see the 747 slowly caming in and passing by. Virgin Atlantic, one of LAS highlights. |
