Well briefed and planned, and perfectly flown by 'Bitch', 'Mitch', 'Smack' and 'Sheik' behind our Skyvan photoship. G-**** Three BAW B744 established on the ILS for 27R, followed by an AAL B772 shortly to take up the ILS. A BMA A320 is bottom left coming off base to complete the picture of the classic Heathrow approach. I've witnessed this sort of thing hundreds of times and it still gives me a smile. Noteworthy to those familiar with London's geography is that the third B744 is somewhere over Fulham right about there. |

A6-EWE (cn 35582/725) Have you ever had one of those days where nothing went right? This was one of those days for me. For starters I had planned to shoot this T7 on final as she arrived, but somehow I missed the angle I wanted. Another mishap was the Qantas 380. I wanted to get her too on short final, but I wasn't happy with the results. And just to add insult to injury... I accidentally stepped in dog poo on my way back to the car. Nevertheless, here we see Emirates 216 departing 25R, illuminated by a nice California Sunset! |
