N507US / 5507 (cn 23196/68) With a beautiful SoCal sunset ahead, a Northwest Airlines B757 approaches runway 24R from DTW as DL2357. After the merger of the NW and DL operating certificates on December 31, 2009, a handful of aircraft still remained in the Northwest livery in spite of Delta's efforts for an accelerated repaint of the Northwest fleet. However, these remaining aircraft, including N507US, were quickly rebranded not long after. Farewell NWA! |
