N6809 (cn 19484/560) OK! Let’s go! Ship 6809 is now taxiing out in a beautiful winter sunlight with her sister ships being washed out by the heat exhaust. Since the snow storm has brought us a pile of snow, the aircrafts are definitely needed of a deicing before departure. This photograph goes to Captain Thomas Gabbett and true aviators for Kitty Hawk who gave me the opportunity to make the article featuring cargo operation to the Japanese Aviation Magazine. This is my favorite angle of one of the greatest jetliner ever built. |

N957AX (cn 47759/871) Simply amazing...I got off of work and was bored and decided to go out and try shooting at night for the first time, and obviously it was a great idea. Looking down at the cargo ramp the ground crew of "ABX179" (N957AX) were still loading up this baby 9 as a cold front was moving in on TUL from the north. "UPS 741" has its engines running and is ready to taxi to 36R to get out before the Tstrms move in. In the distance a AA MD-80 is slowing down on 36R after arriving from DFW. [20D/18-55] |

The vortices on this thing are way beyond and are the very best the MD-11 can produce! Strangely enough the other MD-11s that morning didn't produce nearly as much. |

N35896 A passenger is assisted out of this experimental aircraft just moments after a mishap at the Cable airport. As the vehicle rolled down the runway after landing it suddenly veered to the right and spun causing the landing gear to collapse. Additional damage was evident to the prop and right wing. Fortunately, no one appeared to be injured. |

This photo was taken several hours after Hurricane Andrew devastated the southern part of Dade County. High winds at MIA blew this bird into the canal and it never flew again. It was scrapped in 1996 at MIA. |
