G-EZIN (cn 2503) Taken on the approach to 24 in Naples from the Jumpseat. Mount Vesuvius on the horizon. Taken on a Canon 20D. Sigma 10-20mm f4.0-5.6 EX USM. 10mm f4.0 @ 1/125 ISO 1600. Some Noise removed using Neat Image but unavoidable at that ISO and on my Poor old 20D, but that is the best camera for that lens as it vignettes heavily on my 5D and 1D. |

N803MH (cn 3735) 10mm wideangle view of the modern EC-130 cabin, while turining over the coast of Molokai Island. Notice the small yellow bag everybody is wearing around the waste. It's a life-vest, as we were flying a lot over open water between Maui, Molokai and Lanai. The small camera on the upper right corner of the middle window is one of a few mounted in- and outside of the helicopter, for capturing all of the flight on a DVD. Nice equipment! |
