Remark
Photographer
UR-UCH (cn 0083484536) Often when the big Il-76 landed on the 2000m rwy, the brakes became overheated. The Swedish CRFF-team (crash, rescue and firefighting) often had to cool down the brakes with water.

Remark
Photographer
PH-MCH / CH-276 (cn 24429/294) After having a major hydraulic failure onboard, the captain (who was unable to gauge his landing speed) did his best to avert a disaster with only "minor" tire blowouts upon landing.

G-BUSF (cn 018) It looks like not everyone is happy about BA's decision to focus all it activities in London.... Note the graffiti someone has written on the landing gear door: "R.I.P the Regions" and then something about LHR which I cannot quite make out.
