N82FA / 153 (cn 35960/354) On Jan. 17th, 2007, while enroute from Fairbanks to the Nixon Fork Mine, aircraft suffered an in-flight fire in the number two engine. Attempts to extiguish the fire were unsuccessful, while the pilot attempted to return to Fairbanks. Pilot was forced to make a wheels up landing approximately five miles from Nenana. Photograph is of the fuselage hulk and wreckage being in open storage at the Nenana Municipal Airport. |

N106US (cn 1044) A shot at the damaged front end of the US Airways A-320. Shortly after take-off it is believed the plane hit a flock of geese causing dual engine failure. The airplane was successfully ditched in the Hudson River and all 155 passengers and crew survived. In this picture, there is evidence of a bird strike on the windscreen along with damage sustained to the nosecone from the rescue boats and ferries. |

N35896 A passenger is assisted out of this experimental aircraft just moments after a mishap at the Cable airport. As the vehicle rolled down the runway after landing it suddenly veered to the right and spun causing the landing gear to collapse. Additional damage was evident to the prop and right wing. Fortunately, no one appeared to be injured. |
