They were disposing of old photos and I was asked if I want them.Otherwise they would go to the waste bin. How could I turn down an offer like that? Original slide heavily scratched so I restored it.

CCCP-L5400 3 TU-104's Reg CCCP-5400, CCCP-5412, CCCP-5413. I believe they had brought in a group of Russian Ballet Dancers to LHR, this was one month after the first TU-104 had visited London.

CCCP-L5400 / 25 First Tu-104 prototype. This was the first visit by a TU-104 to London Heathrow on 22 March 1956, carrying the fierce cabinet ranking boss of the secret service Colonel-General Ivan Serov, it departed for Moscow five days later, to return two weeks later carrying a group of Russian ballet dancers.
