VH-OQB (cn 015) Seems all the people on the beach and up at the fence have stopped to watch this amazing machine taxi right past them,The A380 still attracts alot of interest at Sydney even if its a daily sight at Sydney,Nice weather, beautiful beach and an amazing aircraft all in 1 shot.

Delta Air Lines
Boeing 757-2Q8
Amsterdam - Schiphol (AMS / EHAM)
Netherlands, July 15, 2009
Remark
Photographer
N703TW (cn 27620/736) On July 15 ship 6802 suffered a bird strike during its take-off roll at AMS. The 757-200 performed a rejected take-off and in the process applied max brakes. The brakes heated up causing the tires to heat up as well. By design, a plug in one of the tires melted allowing the tire to deflate and break up instead of exploding.

Southern Air
Boeing 747-228F/SCD
Liege (- Bierset) (LGG / EBLG)
Belgium, March 1, 2010
Remark
Photographer
N753SA (cn 21787/398) Classic 747 vs birds. Birds look dangerously close to this giant. Could have finished in a bird strike. If you like planes, you better like birds, not the same for planes, i guess they don't really like birds... haha

United Airlines
Boeing 757-222
San Francisco - International (SFO / KSFO)
USA - California, August 15, 2004
Remark
Photographer
N509UA (cn 24763/284) With LH 744 D-ABVE. The two planes appear to be touching! The 757 is on final for 28L while the 747 is for 28R. The runways are 750 ft apart, so there is still plenty of room between them. Incidentally, Lufthansa 455 is seen here returning to SFO due to an oil leak and eventual shutdown of the number 2 engine. Note rudder is deflected to the right compensating for the failed engine on the left side.

United Airlines
Boeing 757-222
In Flight
USA - Illinois, November 10, 2005
Remark
Photographer
N529UA (cn 25019/352) "United 764 heavy, cleared to land runway 27 right. Caution, American MD-80 is on your 10 o'clock toward the parallel runway 27 left." "Okay sir. We are in sight." After smooth flight from Dallas Fort Worth for two hours, we are welcomed by the beautiful setting sun over the Lake Michigan. From our port side window, we could see a wonderful view of downtown Chicago skyline and shoreline. Sears Tower nicely stands out. Famous "Windy City" seems to be damn calm this afternoon.

Aerolineas Argentinas
Boeing 737-236/Adv
La Rioja - Aeropuerto Capitán Vicente A. Almonacid (IRJ / SANL)
Argentina, November 15, 2009
Remark
Photographer
LV-ZEC (cn 21796/648) After 40 years, 1.5 million hours or 650 million nautical miles of flying, and 100 million transported passengers, Aerolineas Argentinas retired the "Chancha", as the employes called the B737-200. Here, captains F. Carrea and P. Parrado wave for the camera before we set off for the "Chancha's" last flight with AR. This picture is dedicated to everyone at AR who worked on the B737-200 and contributed to this milestone. Farewell "Chancha", we will miss you!

Marana - Pinal Airpark (Silver Bell AHP / Marana AFB / AAF) (MZJ)
USA - Arizona, December 21, 2005
Remark
Photographer
The latest from Marana! I've lost count on how many planes in this picture. It is not hard to figure out the dominant carrier in Marana. It is amazing that going to the desert in Arizona may just see more planes than going to LAX or JFK! [Nikon D100]

UK - England, July 24, 1993
Remark
Photographer
925 black (cn 2960715564) The famous crash seen from the north side of the base, from the top of a 'photo bus'. The most scaring event I have ever seen during an airshow. While I took this photo the other doomed MiG flew over my head.
