If you knew the old runway, you will know that the runway ends at that first corner "at the sea" on the right side, behind the TAP Portugal on her taxi. I get 4 red lights, for sure they don't :P |

UR-82060 (cn 19530503763) One of the most unique cockpits in the world. The flightdeck of the Antonov 225 is without a doubt the most spectacular cockpit I have visisted. Check out those six throttle levers, the pilots must get a great sensation when they open the throttle on this giant. The outside view is blocked by the opened nose. |

Most airport personnel on duty that day came to watch the Antonov and most of them took some pictures like these two rampworkers are doing. It's a nice comparison between man and the world's largest aircraft. The world's former largest passenger aircraft sits in the background. |
