British Midland Airways - BMA
Boeing 737-4Y0
Off-Airport - Kegworth area
UK - England, January 10, 1989
Remark
Photographer
G-OBME (cn 23867/1603) Jan 8th 2004 saw the 15th anniversary of this accident and it is therefore perhaps an appropriate time to upload this shot in memory of those who lost their lives and in tribute to the numerous people who were there helping on the night - emergency services, airport staff and members of the general public. This shot was taken two days later when teams had arrived to take the wreckage away to the AAIB at Farnborough.

TC-JGE (cn 29789/1065) What a scary sight. This TK Boeing 737-800 crash landed on the morning of the 25th on short finals to RWY 18R (polderbaan). The radome cover is totally ripped off. (Canon 50D + Canon 100-400L)

Netherlands, February 25, 2009
Remark
Photographer
TC-JGE (cn 29789/1065) The two engines off the TK B737 which crashed on finals in AMS on 25.02.2009. Both preacriously placed far from each other. Imagine the impact which is strong enough to throw these heavy powerplants so far from the plane and from each other. Surprisingly, the fans looks more or less alright. (Canon 50D + Canon 100-400 L)

Remark
Photographer
TC-JGE (cn 29789/1065) The state of the tail of the TK B737 which crashed on short finals into AMS is scary. Along with its ripped winglet. Also notice the food carts strewn around the place.(Canon 50D + Canon 100-400 L)

F-GLZQ (cn 289) Except for the insurance adjusters, everyone is happy about how this turned out! Walk away from an air crash when this was the final result... count yourself blessed ~

F-GLZQ (cn 289) GTAA staff, YYZ Emergency Response personnel and TSB Crown investigation personnel well represented just beyond the burnt out hull of the Air France Airbus 340-313. Sad end for this majestic bird. Farewell!!

Remark
Photographer
N18611 (cn 27324/2621) Crashed on takeoff on the night of December 20th, no cause found as of the time of writing. Apologies for the quality, I did my best while trying to hold the camera steady exiting the runway in a Lynx Q400. Shame I had my short lens on too.
