A6-EBB (cn 32789/508) All i have to say is WOW! The new Boeing 777-300 ER is a fantastic aircraft to fly. This aircraft flew me BKK-SYD and it was just amazing, not only was i on a new aircraft but i got the double upgrade to F! Pics to come soon. This shot was taken as the cabin crew woke the economy cabin for breakfast. The aircraft has a lighting cycle that simulates the sunrise with lights rising in the same color a sunset would be! The 3-4-3 seating layout does not feel cramped (don't argue via e-mail please!), even though the standard Boeing config is 3-3-3 or 3-4-2. Seats are very comfortable and the seat pitch is quite good. The Inflight entertainment system (ICE) is just amazing ... bring your own headphones though. Flight EK056 from Dusseldorf to Dubai with another 3h 20min to go. |

This is the last row of seats in the aircraft, row 41 seats G/H which I had to myself since the flight was nowhere near full. The seats are comfy with plenty of legroom (33" seat pitch), the seat back IFE excellent although the screens are a little small and the cabin crew first class (Canon 350D + Sigma 10-20 EX DC HSM) |

The previous year ANZ 'sister-ship' ZK-NZP had crashed into Mt Erebus in Antarctica (on 28Nov1979, due to a navigation programming error) with the tragic loss of 257 lives (RIP). That was Flight TE901, the fourteenth ANZ scenic flight to Antarctica. |
